This dashing British hero was actually born in Britain in 1987. Since he was ten years old, he always wanted to be an actor. In 2002, he got a small starring role in Goodbye, Mr. Chips as Forrester for television. Throughout his career he always got a number of small roles in television but never any big film roles.
He was always represented and went to auditions but was always turned down at the very end, sometimes as being the one of the final two options for the role. This was disheartening until finally he got the role of a lifetime as Peter in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. The choice to place him as a starring role was a risky one as the movie was a very large and expensive endeavor.
William dedicated himself to the role and when time came for him to really battle in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, he spent hours at the gym in preparation. He says that he hopes that his work in the role will help him to gain more work as an actor, but he hopes to be able to direct as well.
