Rachael Harris

This is the 69th post in our Celebrity of the Day series.



Rachael Harris was born in 1968 in Ohio.

She started her performance career with an improvisational troupe Groundlings based in California. She got her television debut in 1993 with a role on an episode SeaQuest DSV.

Her next role came in 1997 with a role on Star Trek: Voyager and then a recurring role in Sister, Sister. After that the television credits started rolling in with roles on The Daily Show, The Sarah Silverman Program, Reno 911!, Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Monk and others.

From the mid to late 90s she became the face of a number of different advertising campaigns including T Mobile and Geico.

After television she moved on to movies with roles in Best in Show, Daddy Day Care, For Your Consideration and in The Hangover she plays the girlfriend of Ed Helms (Stu).

In 2004 she worked as a host for Smoking Gun TV and was in numerous MTV documentaries including I Love The 80s and I Love the 90s. She continues to have a role in the series Best Week Ever.

Despite her busy career she has always found time to work on smaller rules and independent films including I'm Not Gay which was written and directed by her husband, Adam Paul.
