Born in 1991, this British child actor started his career at the age of ten with a supporting role in the TV movie Victoria Died in 1901 and is Still Alive Today as Waif. It was another two years before he got his next acting gig in the TV movie Ferrari as the young version of Enzo Ferrari. Despite his lack of major roles Skandar improved upon his craft while studying Anna Scher Theater School for five years.
In 2005, he was picked by the producers for a starring role in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, as Edmund Pevensie. This was followed by The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian in 2008. Currently Skandar is working on the third movie in the series The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader which is set to release in 2010.
Skandar is a boy many talents with the ability to play the cornet, the cello, the tuba, the flute and the guitar. He has stated in interviews that despite his recent success as an actor, he hopes to be a doctor when he grows up. It seems that Skandar is full of high expectations for himself, and in light of all that he has already accomplished, there is little doubt that he will fulfill those expectations.
