Man Man is a band formed in Pennsylvania in 2003. Their is hard to describe because it is very experimental but some have described it as Viking-vaudeville, manic Gypsy jazz.
The members of the band all go by pseudonyms - the frontman is Honus Honus (Ryan Kattner), and its other members are Sergei Sogay , Pow Pow (Christopher Powell), Critter Crat (Russell Higbee), and Chang Wang (Billy Dufala).
The band released it's first album in 2003, entitled The Man in a Blue Turban with a Face. Their second album was released in 2006 and was called Six Demon Bag.
It was in 2007 that the band began to get some wider appeal when they went on tour opening for Modest Mouse. Soon after their song 10lb mustache was used as background music in a Nike commercial featuring Rainn Wilson. That song as well as Feathers and Engwish Bwudd were featured in episode 3.8 of Weeds.
In 2008, the band released their latest album Rabbit Habits and they started a North American tour with The Extraordinaires and Yeasayer. Rabbit Habits charted at #186 in the U.S.
