Josh Holloway was born in 1969. He had a interested in movies from a young age but he also wanted to pursue a career in modeling. He dropped out of college after one year in order to jump start his modeling career.
It was his love of movies and acting that brought him to L.A. His very first role in television was well-suited to him as he was "Good Looking Guy" in an episode of Angel. In 2001 and 2002 he got some small roles in movies and television included Cold Heart and Moving August.
It was in 2003 that he earned a larger role in the movie Doctor Benny in which he plays Pheb. The following year got him his big break as he was cast to play James "Sawyer" Ford in the science fiction series Lost. The show became a bigger hit than anyone expected as as a major character Josh continues his role in the series to this day.
While doing Lost Josh continues to take on small roles and projects, including being the voice of Ajay in the video game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars.
