This is the 96th post in our Celebrity of the Day series.

Kevin Federline, K-Fed, was born in 1978. When he was in 9th grade he dropped out of high school and began dancing with a nonprofit group called Dance Empowerment.

As his dancing skills improved, he began to get noticed and eventually became back up dancers for Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Destiny's Child, Pink and even LFO.

He eventually began a relationship with Shar Jackson and they two had two children, Kori Madison Federline (July 31, 2002) and Kaleb Michael Jackson Federline (July 20th, 2004). Despite breaking up the couple retain a friendly relationship and Shar has stated that Kevin is an amazing dad.

It was also in July of 2004 that Kevin and Brittney Spears announced their engagement, they had been dating for about three months - since Kevin's separation from Shar. They were married on September 8th, 2004. Their first child, Sean Preston Federline was born September 14th, 2005 and their second child Jayden James Federline was born September 12th, 2006. It was not long after that Brittney filed for divorce in a move that completely caught Kevin by surprise. She also petitioned for full custody of the children, but at the time Brittney's behavior was too erratic to care for the children and Kevin was granted full custody.

In the summer of 2006, Kevin decided to try his hand as a rapper and released his first album Playing with Fire in October of 2006. It was one of the worst selling albums in history. That same year he tried his hand at modeling for the Five Star Vintage line.

It is now rumored that Kevin will be on the the reality TV show Celebrity Fit Club for the next season, which is undoubtedly in response to the press commenting on his large amount of weight gain since the divorce.
