The IT Crowd

The IT Crowd is a British television sitcom that premiered on February 3, 2006. It is has already been announced that the show will air a fourth season in 2010. The series is about the fake corporation Reynholm Industries which is located in Central London. The focus of the show is the IT guys who are stuck down in the basement and largely ignored. They are happy with their little system of fighting against the man until Jen comes. She bluffs Douglas Reynholm into thinking she is good with computers and is made manager of the IT department. She convinces both guys in the IT department (Moss and Roy) to not tell about her incompetence on the promise that she will improve their relations within the company, but in fact she usually does the opposite.

The series has won a number of awards including an International Emmy, a BAFTA award for Best Situation Comedy, and The British Sitcom Guide named it the Best New British Sitcom of 2006. It has become so popular in fact that it is even gaining attention in the United States which is very rare for a British sitcom.
