This is a post in our Celebrity of the Day series.
This native New Zealand star was born in 1988 and began following her dreams at the ripe age of two by appearing in television commercials and by the age of four she had landed her own role on TV. There was no stopping this young star, except for the wishes of her parents who wanted her to complete her studies before becoming a full time actress. Rose agreed to focus on her studies but not to stop acting, so she found a way to work both into her busy lifestyle.
The rising starlet accomplished her goal so well that not only did she graduate with the rest of her class but she was honored with a New Zealand Film and Television Award for Best Juvenile Actress in a TV Series. By the age of 19 she had a number of television credits under her belt from soap operas to dramas, and even a number of New Zealand movies.
In 2007, she took on a starring role in the Disney Channel movie Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board which was filmed entirely in New Zealand. But her big screen premiere will be released at the end of this year and is the film adaptation of The Lovely Bones.
Currently she can be seen as Summer Landsdown in the kid’s television series Power Rangers: RPM.
