Born in 1971, this Texas starlet began her career at the age of 12 performing at Houston’s Alley Theater. This spurned on her love of acting and she went on to attend Houston’s High School of Visual and Performing Arts. During this time her acting skills were only used on the guests at Six Flags Theme Park as she donned one mascot costume after another. After high school, she took a role in the Mickey Mouse Club drama series Teen Angel.
Her triumphs with Mickey Mouse Club weren’t enough to save her appearance on Tales from the Crypt from the cutting room floor, but in 1991 she was offered a role in the television miniseries Changes. She continued appearing in odd shows and miniseries until she was noticed by producer Rob Tapert who not only cast her in Hercules and the Lost Kingdom, but also in Darkman II. Her big break came soon after when she was cast as Xena’s sidekick, Gabrielle, in the television series Xena: Warrior Princess.
Her recent projects have included Ghost Town and Boogeyman II; she is also scheduled to appear in the hit show Criminal Minds.
