Bailee rose born Bailee Newland in New Zealand in 1990. This country girl turned model was once the subject of constant ridicule due to her extraordinary height at 1.79m. That all changed of course when Bailee became interested in a modeling course. Her mother supported her, saying that “if she doesn't like it at least maybe she will learn to brush her hair and wear some girlie clothes.”
But once Bailee had finished the four day modeling course, it wasn’t long before she was offered a spot in one of New Zealand’s top agencies, Red Eleven. She has now appeared in a number of different New Zealand magazines including Girlfriend, Pulp and Remix. Five months later Bailee moved even further up the modeling ladder as she was offered a contract with the top New York modeling agency Ford Models.
The young model remains down to earth and says that she is still getting used to being into fashion and modeling. She states that she is finally getting used to wearing heels, and that wearing them while vacuuming helps.
