Sara Paxton

Sara Paxton was born in 1988 in California. Sara wanted to perform even as a child and would put on her own shows and performances. She would sometimes even attend school dressed up as one particular character or another. She graduated from high school in 2006.

It was in 1997 that she got her first film role, which was a small part in the movie Liar Liar. After this she had a number of small roles in television and movies including roles in CSI: Miami, Lizzie Maguire and Passions.

In 2004 she had a major role in the movie Sleepover which received poor box office reviews. After that she got a recurring role in the series Summerland. Then she was given the lead in Darcy's Wild Life which aired from 2004 -2006 and even featured Sara's own song "Take a Walk." Sara received an Emmy nomination for her role in the series in 2006.

In 2006, Sara starred in the movie Aquamarine which had critics comparing her to Reese Witherspoon. It was around this time that Sara was also signed to Epic Records and began working on her first album. The album has yet to be released .

In 2007 she played Rachel Witchburn in the movie Sydney White as well as starring in The Party Never Stops: Diary of a Binge Drinker.

Her most recent projects have been a starring role in Last House on the Left and in the series The Beautiful Life. But The Beautiful Life was canceled after two episodes.
