Lily Allen was born in 1985 in England. Lily was a troubled child at a young age and was kicked out of a number of schools for drinking and smoking. But when she sang Baby Mine at a school performance at the age of 11 she discovered her true purpose. She then started focusing on learning the piano and taking singing lessons.

Eventually she used her father's connections as famous musician Keith Allen to get herself signed to London Records in 2002. But the label soon lost interest when the person who signed her left.
She then moved on to be signed by Regal Recordings. In order to help promote herself she created a MySpace page in November of 2005. She posted her demo recordings and got massive amounts of listeners and this led to quick releases of mixtapes and magazines became interested in the young star.
In July of 2006 she released her debut album Alright, Still in Europe. The album was considered a hit and Entertainment Weekly named it one of the top ten albums of the year before it was even released in the U.S.
Her second album was set to release in the beginning of 2008 but complications let to It's not Me, It's you being released in 2009. It was soon after the album's released that Lily announced that she would not be renewing her record contract because she has decided to pursue a career in acting.
