Davina McCall

Davina Lucy Pascale McCall was born in 1967 in England. She went to live with her grandparents at the age of three after he parents' divorce. She had a strained relationship with her mother, and stated that her mother "never should have had kids" after remembering an incident where her mother left her to fend for herself at a nightclub at the age of 12.

She started singing with a band at the age of 15 but then went on to start a solo career at 19. She was then dating family friend Eric Clapton who helped her with her first record and tried to get her into the pop world. She however became dissatisfied with her lack of success and turned to modeling.

She then went from running a restaurant to becoming a singing waitress to a nightclub hostess. At this time she was also strugging with a drug addiction.

It was Eric Clapton that came to her rescue and helped her get her life back on track. In 1992 she became the voice over presenter for Eurotrash on MTV. The show spearheaded her career as a presenter and led her to do a number of different shows before earning the role that she is most known for.

In 2000 she started presenting Big Brother a reality television series in Britain. She has since be hosting the show which is currently in its tenth season. She also hosted the follow up series, Celebrity Big Brother.

She is also featured on a number of exercise DVDs with different personal trainers.

Recently there have been rumors that she was going to quite Big Brother in order to focus on a serious acting career but Davina has started that they would have to kill her before she'd stop doing it.
