Patrick Wolf

Patrick Wolf was born in 1983 in London. He started his interest young, taking musical lessons at the age of 11. It was at 14 that he joined Minty and began performing. At 16 he left school and home and worked to support himself through busking and playing in a quartet.

He continued to write and perform music and that eventually brought him to the attention of Fat Cat Records. He released Lycanthropy in 2003. He released another album in 2005, Wind in the Wires which received wide critical acclaim.

2007 brought about his third album entitled The Magic Position. Wolf promoted the album with a concert tour in North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia, culminating in two sold out nights at London's Shepherds Bush Empire.

In 2009 he released the Bachelor and he intends to release The Conqueror in 2010.
