Eric Millegan

Eric Millegan was born in 1974 in New Jersey, but he grew up in Oregon.

He started acting at the age of 7 when he performed in Amahl and the Night Visitors. After that he continued to perform in many other musical theater productions with the Eugene Opera, including Madame Butterfly and Carmen.

He first studied acting at the Interlochen Arts Camp at the Interlochen Cetner for the Arts in Michigan before going on to study musical theater at the University of Michigan.

In 2000 he made his first appearance on Broadway in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

In 2001 he got his first film and television roles in Soda Pop and 100 Centre Street respectively. In 2003 Out named him the "Hottest UP and Coming Openly Gay Actor" and it seemed they were right because just two years later he was cast in the role for which he is most well known, as Dr. Zach Addy in Bones.

Today he continues being active in musical theater while still making some appearances in Bones.

In August of 2009, he released a video on youtube that worked to describe his experiences with rapid-cycling bipolar disorder.
