Corbin Bernsen was born in 1954 in California. He earned a BA in Theater and an MFA in Playwriting from UCLA. He got his first film role in 1974 in Three the Hard Way.
He first gained some popularity when he got a two year role on the soap opera Ryan's Hope. He then jumped into stardom when he was cast as Arnie Becker in the television series L.A. Law. He remained on the show for 8 years. During this time he took a number of film roles including Breaking Point and Major League.
He also got a number of small roles in television in shows like Seinfeld and Boston Legal. He played on The Cape for one year and then continued to take small roles in television series. He also took roles in movies and he directed, produced and acted in Dear Air.
Today he is recognized as Henry Spencer on the television series Psych. He can still be seen on the show every Wednesday night.
He is currently planning a baseball movie about zombies called Three Strikes, You're Dead.
