Sharon Little

This is the 114th post in our Musician of the Day series.

Sharon Little was born in 1980 in Pennsylvania. Sharon loved performing ever since she was a young girl and would enter whatever talent show she could

She was working as a waitress in Philadelphia and performing with local bands when she decided to idependently release an album in 2006 called Drawing Circles. It was not long after that that she was signed to CBS records in early 2008.

She was quickly placed as an opening act for the North American Rising Sand tour which included Alison Krauss, Robert Plant, and T-Bone Burnett.

Sharon states that her talent at writing and performing developed into more than she ever could have imagined when she began collaborating with Scot Sax. The group travels everywhere by train and they will often spend the time working out new songs and playing them on the train to the delight of other passengers.

In May of 2008 Sharon released an album with CBS records called Perfect Time for a Breakdown. Her songs have now been featured on Numb3rs and CSI. Her song Follow that Sound has been chosen as the theme for the series The Cleaner.

Sharon Little is currently working on a new album.
